Interested in a New Bible Study Class??
We are looking at initiating a new midweek Bible Class at Zion. It would start at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. Not
sure of the day of the week, possibly a Thursday.
Class name: COFFEE AT THE CORNERSTONE
Basis for the name of the group: I Peter 2:6; “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in Him will not be put to
shame.”
Purpose: To engage our hearts and minds in a deeper understanding of God’s will so that we might love Him more and serve Him – and “them ‘fellow believers’ even better, since those who benefit from their service are believers and dear to them” I Tim.6:2;
Material: Bible verses. Just a verse or two from one of the Scripture readings for the coming Sunday. Or even a verse you have always had questions about Formal class will last no more than a
half hour. Anyone wishing to stay longer may do so either for further discussion or just to visit over a cup of coffee.
